What! Another amazing day at the beach. The swell has come up slightly since yesterday, it’s a fun 2-3ft on the sets and the wind’s been blowing lightly from the south west for most of the day. I hope you’re enjoying winter. Enjoy – Levi [singlepic id=245 w=720 h=590 float=center]

What a fantastic winters day, not so much for surfing but just to soak up the sun on the beach. The swell is still pretty small at about 1-2ft, but looks like its slowly on the rise. Not much wind for almost the whole day, just coming up from the north late in the afternoon. [...]

Just around the corner from Kamakura is Enoshima Beach. Black sands with great backdrops of Enoshima island at one end of the beach and some beautiful mountains at the other. As for the waves, the swell was looking pretty decent, up to about 4ft on the sets & the winds are slightly off-shore. If you’re [...]

Hi people & welcome back.. Traveling to Japan this week has been a mixture of the expected crowds, crazy fashion, small spaces & sushi, but still full of surprises. Less then an hour from central Tokyo by train is one of the most popular places to surf in Japan – that may have more to [...]

Soooo sick today. It all came together today – winds swung around to the west and the swell evened out. There were nice waves from Byron through Lennox to Ballina. Might be brown and scary looking, but i could handle having waves like this everyday for the rest of my life! Enjoy – Levi [singlepic [...]

There was no shortage of waves today for the finals of the Rusty Gromfest in Lennox. The wind was from the NW and the swell is still massive, about 6-8ft out the back. So good to see all the young rippers charging the big waves. Congratulations all the grommets out there who competed. Looks like it might [...]

Wow, this was one amazing day! Waves running from Clarkes to Belongil, 4-5ft swell in the Bay, off-shore wind & barrels big enough to drive a small truck through… Yew, get yaself amongst it. Enjoy – Levi

Another epic day of waves in the Bay. There was an increase in the swell and amount of grommets in the water today – truck loads of the little rippers. Hope you grommets have fun & score some more sick waves. Yew!! Enjoy ~ Levi [singlepic id=210 w=700 h=580 float=center]

What a day! There were some beautiful little waves this arvo in the Bay. Southerly winds and good south swell made for nice conditions. The sun was busting through & lighting up the waves at Main Beach, so were some of the grommets. Good to see such young talent in the Bay. Enjoy – Levi [...]

The swell backed off a little from yesterday, but there were still some reasonable waves to be had. Off-shore breeze, 2-3ft south swell and spread-out crowds was the order of the day. Angels beach was possibly the pick of the spots today – certainly looked nice from where I was standing. Yet another fantastic sunset [...]

What a day! As flat as it gets, but the best weather you could ask for… So glad to be alive – can’t wait for that predicted swell to arrive. Think it could be pretty nice by Sunday, not that i’m into predictions. Enjoy – Levi

North wall looked like the spot to be this afternoon. Unfortunately the swell dropped off quicker than it arrived. Great to have some off-shore winds and another spectacular sunset. Enjoy – Levi [singlepic id=186 w=700 h=580 float=center]
