Lennox Point

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

There was solid six foot of swell on the open beaches today. Lennox point was holding it alright, especially this afternoon on low tide, when the wind went off-shore. There were even a few heaving barrels for anyone keen enough. Looking good for the next few days as well. Yew!

Pass it on!

Today was a good day for being in-doors, or under the cover of a good lip.. Heard there were some good waves at Kirra, but a couple of the Gold Coast boys were down at the Bay for the late arvo session. Adam Bennetts wasn’t just hiding under the lip, he did his fare share […]

Main Beach & The Wreck

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

Some nice barrels today on high tide, which was around 11 am. Not too many people surfing between Clarkes & The Wreck being a Sunday and all. Swell was around 3-4ft in the Bay but looked like it was on the increase late in the afternoon. Keep an eye on it! Levi

Main Beach Barrels

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Swell is still pretty solid from the South East & winds kicking in from the same kind of direction. A few nice waves to be had at Broken, Lennox Point and of course in the Bay. If you were lucky enough to get into some of the late afternoon goodness at Main Beach you might […]

22nd of March @ Clarkes

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

What a day! Blue skies, crystal clear water & nice little barrels running from Clarkes to Main beach. Being a perfect  Sunday there were a lot of people soaking it up, but still plenty of waves. Looking forward to see what the cyclone brings us.

Boulders 19th of March

Friday, March 20th, 2009

Great arvo session at boulders – was about the best spot outta the wind & if you were lucky enough you could find a little barrel to squeeze into. Failing that, you could just sit back and enjoy the sunset!
